Five years in the making, The Fold is ready to welcome its first guests. Rescued from an uncertain future, this unique family run private estate now offers guest accommodation in four luxurious suites that can be booked individually, or together offering an exclusive experience for larger groups.
Lovingly restored by the owners from the old stables, the suites retain the charm and character of their heritage, with the attention to detail expected from a boutique hotel. Situated around a French inspired courtyard garden, it truly is a place to relax and unwind.

Nature meets Nurture
The world is becoming ever more fast paced and increasingly virtual, the core idea in creating The Fold is to provide an oasis of calm and authenticity at the heart of one of the fastest growing parts of the country.
The sensitively curated and generously sizes suites are situated around the original enclosed courtyard where horses would come 'back to the fold' after a hard days work on the land. We hope you will take the chance to 'switch off' from the day to day while you are here, but in case you do need to stay connected we have secure high speed wifi in each suite, a good sound system, smart TVs and even a dishwasher.
Important to us has been sustainability of the entire project. We have made extensive use of reclaimed building materials, given new life to restored furniture and installed an air source heating system. Electric vehicles are also fully embraced with the undercover parking area providing type 2 charging facilities for upto 4 vehicles.
Introducing Founders Season
The suites are complete, the courtyard garden planted. We are ready to share this rather special place with our first guests while we make finishing touches to the wider estate.
There will be limited availability in this our founding year for those who would like the opportunity to be amongst the first that get to experience The Fold and provide feedback to help shape the next chapter for this heritage estate.
